Adobe Audition is a rip-off. I stopped using it in 2018 not only to avoid the subscription fees, but they showed their hand even back then to be in full support for AI voices. I switched to REAPER. Yes, there was a learning curve, but hey, if I could figure out Cubase for VO I could figure out REAPER, right? Still, I wanted to make REAPER work like Adobe Audition, because I’m not going to lie: I liked recording voice overs with it. So here’s what I learned to do in REAPER from the best parts of Audition, and what you’ll learn now from the guide at lanceblairvo.com:
.) How to make REAPER work like Adobe Audition in Waveform Editor Mode (but non-destructively!)
.) How to save a highlighted section like in Audition Waveform Editor Mode
.) How to Batch Process and
.) How to do Spectral Edits.
